Ingredients

  • 1 scoop of chocolate protein powder whey or plant-based
  • 1 ripe banana frozen for a creamier texture
  • 1 cup of unsweetened almond milk or milk of your choice
  • 1 tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon of natural peanut butter or almond butter optional, for extra creaminess and flavor
  • 1 teaspoon of honey or maple syrup optional, for added sweetness
  • Ice cubes optional, for a colder shake

Instructions

  • Gather all the ingredients and a blender.
  • Peel the ripe banana and break it into chunks. If you haven't already, freeze the banana chunks for at least an hour before making the shake. Freezing the banana adds creaminess to the shake without the need for additional ice.
  • In the blender, add the frozen banana chunks, chocolate protein powder, unsweetened almond milk, unsweetened cocoa powder, and natural peanut butter or almond butter if using.
  • Optionally, add a teaspoon of honey or maple syrup if you prefer a sweeter taste.
  • If you like your shake extra cold, toss in a few ice cubes.
